Stock
A stock represents a share of ownership in a company. When you buy a stock, you are essentially buying a small piece of that company, making you a shareholder. Stocks are also known as equities.
Investing in stocks allows individuals to participate in the financial success (or failure) of companies, offering the potential for long-term growth or dividend income, but it also carries risks such as stock price declines.
The Analysis view for a stock includes detailed information about the company, including ratings, profitability, valuation, dividends, share price, insider trades, revenues, earnings, corporate filings (8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, 6-K, 20-F), earnings transcripts, calendar, and news.
Example stocks are MSFT and V, representing Microsoft and Visa, respectively.
